Beard Removal (Steve)

Greetings Gentle Reader,
The image on the left is a before shot of me this morning. One of the things I have actually missed in the past few years was the occasional hot-towel shave. It is quite a luxurious indulgence at a downtown hair place here in Edmonton (Shameless Plug for Capitol Hairstylists) ... probably similar to a spa treatment, but I have never been to a spa so couldn't say for sure.

Thus, when the urge to remove my beard came upon me, it was an obvious choice to go have a professional take care of it. I highly recommend it, once in a while for a bit of male-pampering.

The image on the right is the after shot: seems I have dropped about 10 years in the past two hours. My son was a bit traumatized by the whole thing, but suprisingly enough my daughter who has never seen me without a beard was not phased at all.

A bit sensitive, and a bit chilly. Guess I will have to get back into the shave routine.

p.s. a few hours later I was asked for ID at the Liquor Store. Ha! Guess I was wrong and I must have dropped 15 years!
